  Booked this restaurant on back of reviews and menu looked really good with things like duck which we don't normally see on Indian menu.I had phsyced myself up for another... read more unusual dish lamb shank cooked in Indian spices.We ordered duck for a starter and no complaints there,nice.My wife had a chicken dish cooked in spices and cashew which was also nice.My lamb shank came and 1st thing I noticed was bone was cold,when I cut through the sauce into the lamb It was as if it was only half cooked and definitely felt as though it had been reheated in a microwave but not enough and was definitely Luke warm which totally put me off as it didn't look cooked through enough in 1st place.Its all very well the manager going round asking if everything is ok but what are you going to say,put it back in the microwave for a couple of minutes?Im afraid I don't do that,I would rather write it off as a bad meal rather than send it back to the kitchen.The ambience and the wine and beer were fine and I'm sure other dishes would be fine but unfortunately mine was poor.

  Traditional but very good Indian food in a central location.Some nice cocktails and high quality overall...a few dishes had a nice modern twist as well. Recommended.
